Unfortunately presenters have very little access to content, it is limited to the brief script on the slide- a major concern among the presenters who has to deliver a lengthy presentation.

Here are some tips and tricks to bring your slides to life:

• Have an overall idea on how  your presentation should look before creating the slides-keep slides for the last.
• Make your presentation look like a story being unfold,that means by using the same colors, imagery and topography on all the slides.It need not be exactly the same but must feel the same.
• Highlight the important slides because you don’t want all the slides to look the same and lifeless

For example try playing with the background colours by going vice-versa on the important slides.

• Less text, the more- If there are a lot of texts in your slide,you are confusing the audience whether to read or listen to you.But if you can’t avoid using texts try revealing it progressively by using transition effects,bullet points etc as per your convenience.
• Use photos that speak louder than words i.e. photos that are meaningful and relatable.

Some technical tips to help you create better:

• Make effects and transitions smooth- A drastic change may bring the audience out of their lethargy.
• Try to dupe and mask photos which means first set image transparency, duplicate the image so that the audience stays interested.
• Use large and high definition images.
• Do not use auto-play for videos-Set the video to “click to play”, that way you can control the video start time.
• Use simple and easy to understand graphs, also set the color and vibe that goes with your slides.
